Vera was born to a family of dreamers and
poets, descendant of the love child of Anais Nin and Henry Miller. She
suffered White Line Fever and thus set out on her own at a young age.
Through her travels she worked with Sissy Hankshow at the
Rubber Rose Dude Ranch, learned buckdancing/flatfooting from Jessico White, moonshining
from locals up in West Va.., hitchhiked into Mexico with Dean Moriarty
and met up with a young kat Holden Caulfield in New York. But it was in
Reno where she had her lucky break and came upon a brokendown station wagon
full of ex-Rockettes who were on their way to a show. She gave them a lift
and they took her on as an apprentice, and she was a natural with her sultry and daring spirit
inherited from her ancestor, Ms.Nin. Years passed and Vera met up with a
group of seemingly innocent young ladies out in Texas . They joined up with an old jazz
singer and began performing together as Lady and the Tramps. Vera carries
on the family tradition of performing and being a traveling gypsy. Catch
Lady and the Tramps when they pull into your town. |

| These are a
few of my favorite things: The color Red,
Amarietta Sours, Apple Martinis and any cocktail in a fancy glass(or the
warmest liquor available in my flask when no one is looking), MAC Ruby Woo
lipstick, Bad poison songs, reading trashy steamy anythings, smoking long
cigarettes in even longer cigarette holders and songs with lots of
saxophone. I love and admire Gypsy Rose lee, Dixie Evans and Dirty Martini
the mostest. |
